Bringing smiles to children in need!
Sweet Buffalo Rocks started as a small idea that turned into something big. The goal was to paint and hide rocks across WNY to bring smiles to people and as our Facebook group grew, so did our mission! We began hosting in-person and virtual fundraisers for children battling cancer; organized a surprise visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus on a sleigh of horses for a boy with terminal cancer; gave a little girl who lost her mom to illness a bedroom makeover; raised money for two boys who lost their mom to cancer with a T-shirt fundraiser; helped a baby who was in the hospital since he was born get home for the first time in his life; surprised a boy battling cancer with a puppy and made more of his wishes come true; held a pizza party with superheroes at a boy’s home who was scared to go back to school after battling leukemia and organized a birthday parade for him; held a rock painting pizza party with superheroes and Ninja Turtles at Oishei Children’s Hospital for children battling life-threatening illnesses; collected Christmas gifts for less fortunate children and raised money for their families. These are just a few of the many efforts Sweet Buffalo Rocks has put together to give back to children and families in need. We hope you’ll support us on Give 716 so we can continue to do more!
Sweet Buffalo Rocks Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that aims to bring smiles to children in need. Since our inception, we’ve raised thousands of dollars for children battling illness and families facing hardship. We’ve partnered with local businesses and organizations to help give Christmas to those in need and the homeless. We’ve brought superheroes to Oishei Children’s Hospital and Roswell Park to brighten a child’s day and we’ve made wishes come true for children battling terminal illness. We are a very small organization but we continue to make a big impact in Western New York and we hope to do so for many years to come.
