We are a non-profit representing the best in community outreach, leveraging the power of sports and athletes to motivate at-risk kids to participate in transformative educational programs.
Founded in 1977 and housed on Levels 5 & 6 of the TD Garden, The Sports Museum features a half-mile of exhibits celebrating the history and character of Boston sports. Through its award-winning educational programs Boston vs. Bullies and Stand Strong, The Sports Museum leads the way in using the power of sports to help Kids build character and prevent and stop bullying.
All told, more than 35,000 upper elementary and middle school students each year experience a character-building Sports Museum educational program. Delaware North Companies, Inc. – Boston (the company that owns the TD Garden and the Boston Bruins) provides The Sports Museum with office space, exhibit space, and management support. The presenting sponsor of The Sports Museum is New Balance Athletics, Inc.
The Sports Museum is a non-profit educational institution that has served Boston and New England for almost 50 years. Housed on Levels 5 and 6 of the TD Garden, we have more than a half-mile of exhibits celebrating sports in Boston (and beyond).
We also represent the very best in community outreach, providing character-building, transformative educational programs that help and positively impact at-risk kids throughout our city and our region.
The Sports Museum is a Charity participating in the Fan & Charity Appreciation Jackpot a 50/50 Raffle event, presented by Boston Bruins Foundation.
