Matt Brown Foundation Inc

I suffered a spinal cord injury during a high school hockey game in 2010. From the beginning, I was extremely lucky with the support that I had around me. Through the years, it only continued to grow. Over that time, I have seen individuals and families facing the same challenges that I face, the same challenges that my family faced, but with no support system.

Knowing I had to do something, I launched the Matt Brown Foundation in 2020. Launching and trying to grow up foundation in the middle of a pandemic is something I might not recommend doing, but over the last 18 months, we have really started to hit our stride. Through a golf tournament, marathon and road race teams, and other events, we raise money for pieces of equipment for homes, we have helped pay for home renovations, and we have helped individuals pay for new accessible vans.
